How to play

Tap open water to make a splash.
Every floater drifts one step away from your splash - always. That single rule is the whole game.
Banks, rocks and other floaters block the drift, so a blocked floater simply stays put.
Bring every duckling to a lily pad before the splashes run out.
A duckling that reaches its pad is home for good - later ripples never move it again.
If the ducklings still adrift can no longer reach a free pad, undo a splash rather than restarting.

What's in the game

The Pond - 450 hand-checked ponds across twelve packs, ramping from calm to genuinely hard. Each is solvable, and each gives one to three stars.
Splash Rush - random ponds against a clock, in three lengths. Bank as many stars as you can before the water settles.
Golden Ponds - bonus boards with a whole brood to bring home. Clearing one the first time pays out hints.
The Pond Shop - themes that repaint the whole game, pond friends that change what your floaters look like, and fancier lily pads. They are bought with coins, and coins come from playing: every pond you clear, every third star, the Daily Pond, the daily quests and the games in your own pond.

PondPulse is fully translated into sixteen languages. By default it follows your device language; you can pick a different one in Settings.

Frequently asked questions

Does the game work offline?

Yes. Every pond, the Daily Pond, Splash Rush and your own pond all work with no connection at all. The only thing that needs the internet is making a purchase, which goes through Google Play.

What does it cost?

The game is free, with no ads, no subscriptions and no sign-up. Three hundred ponds, the Daily Pond, Splash Rush and the quests cost nothing, and every friend, pad, theme and decoration in the shop can be bought with coins you earn by playing. There are optional one-time purchases if you would rather not wait: a premium upgrade for levels 301 to 450, coin and hint packs, and a few exclusive friends and themes. None of them is needed to finish the game.

I'm stuck on a pond.

Every pond in the game has a verified solution, so there's always a way through. Undo steps back one splash at a time, and a hint lights up the next move. A hint only ever costs you once per pond - re-showing it later, after a restart or a replay, is free.

The pond went still and nothing moves.

That means every floater is blocked, so no splash can change anything. Undo a step or restart the pond.

I'm out of hints.

Buy more with coins in the Pond Shop, a few at a time or fifty at once. Coins come from playing, so hints are always reachable without paying. Golden Ponds never spend a hint, so you can always keep going there.

A pack is locked.

Packs open as you solve the ponds before them. Levels 301 to 450 are the premium packs, and the premium upgrade in the Pond Shop opens them. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

How is my progress saved?

Progress is stored locally on your device only. Your device's own system backup may include it, so it can come back on a new phone. Deleting the app removes it from the device. See the privacy policy for details.

Can I start over?

Yes - Settings → Reset progress. It can't be undone. Every star, your pond, your hints, your streaks and everything bought with coins are cleared. Anything you paid real money for is kept, and so are coins you bought, so a purchase is never lost.

Can I turn off the vibration?

Yes, in Settings → Vibration.
